Kamaole II Beach, directly across the street, is one of Kihei's best sandy playgrounds - sun, snorkel, swim, kayak, and paddle board. Snorkel gear rental is available within walking distance. Across the street, you can walk the pathway along the shoreline all the way to Wailea -- watch the whales (December-March) from shore and keep an eye out for sea turtles munching on the algae off the rocks!
